Meet our Interim Pastor this Sunday!

October 5, 2017

Stillmeadow Family:

“Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding: in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight.” (Proverbs 3:5-6)  In these days of transition, these verses remind us where we must focus, trusting that He is “never surprised by the next” I pray that this finds you well in this changing season.

First, thank you for your support and encouragement for Dr. Bowser, our pastoral staff, and our congregation in these weeks.  Thank you also for your commitment to prayer and fasting as we continue to move forward.

Dr. Bowser is grateful for the opportunity to spend the past 5 weeks with the Stillmeadow family and continues to move ahead with the transition plan.  That being said, he has invited Rev. Ray Stark to serve as the interim pastor with primary responsibility for filling the pulpit on Sunday mornings.  Our current pastoral staff will continue with their existing responsibilities.

Rev. Stark has a history of incredible ministry in the local church and has recently joined the John Maxwell Team as an independent certified coach, teacher, and speaker.  Rev. Stark and his wife make their home in Middletown and have attended services at Stillmeadow for the past three weeks.

Rev. Stark is scheduled to begin as the interim pastor on Sunday, October 8th.  Rev. Stark will be introduced from the pulpit on Sunday morning.  Please welcome him as he fulfills God’s calling in this way.  Your continued prayers, support, and encouragement are appreciated.

Mercy, Peace & Love Be Yours in Abundance,

Chastity Frederick, Church Board Secretary
