Welcome Wednesday Update
Happy Wednesday Friends!
It's our weekly update coming to you from Teen Camp 2018! Please pray for our youth (19 from Stillmeadow and 260 from our Mid-Atlantic District), that they would receive Christ’s META (change) in their hearts and minds and offer His love and grace to each other in a way that positions them to continue to grow in and follow Christ after camp.
INVEST IN OUR INTERNS
On Sunday we heard from a little bit of what Sarah and Bakari have been up to this summer. Please join us in investing in their pursuit of Christ in the future by giving to the internship fund. If you'd like to give, go to www.stillnaz.com/give and give online or through text to give. You can also give by sending a check to the church made out to "Stillmeadow" with the memo line saying, "Intern fund."
BLESS A CHILD WITH SCHOOL SUPPLIES
We’ve been given an excellent opportunity to bless the children of the Parkway Development where our bus ministry serves every Saturday. This is an excellent opportunity for families to work together! The collection ends on August 12.
.GET READY FOR THE ELDER KLEINFELD'S
So, I'm blessed to have parents who serve as missionaries in Cambodia. And we'll be blessed as a church when they join us Sunday, July 29 to share about their work there. We hope you can join us to hear about God's work in the Church of the Nazarene throughout the land of Cambodia. If you want to catch up on their work ahead of time: https://bit.ly/2mbfiDO. If you want to give to their work: https://give.nazarene.org/donate/f/130191
UNITY UNDER CHRIST IS OUR HOPE
We live in a world whose headlines are loaded with hostility, but we are called by God to be a people who live out headlines of hope. So, we are doing a 7 week study of Paul’s letter to the Ephesians. We want to be a people shaped by the fierce reconciling hope of Christ’s good news rather than the feckless hateful hostility of the world’s news. So, let’s pray for and prepare for that to happen among us at Stillmeadow and in York. Join us on Sunday’s or catch up on our sermon blog: www.stillnaz.com/sermon-blog.
THIS WEEK'S BLESSING...
May we “make every effort to keep the unity of the Spirit through the bond of peace. There is one body and one Spirit – just as you were called to one hope when you were called – one Lord, one faith, one baptism; one God and Father of all, who is over all through all in all.” May we allow Jesus to make peace in us. May we allow Jesus to make peace through us.
