Thankful Thursday Update
Dear Family of Faith,
It's Thursday, so let's make this a "Thankful Thursday Update!" As we are a people who "look up" to Jesus, let us give thanks for all the good He has done for us and all the good we have around us! And go the next step and tell someone else "thank you" today!
THANK GOD FOR HIS WISDOM: PLEASE PRAY ON THE 7'S
Over the last year, our church board has been in the discernment process of what's next for our Chestnut Street Campus. Last night we received the report and recommendations from the City Campus Commission and are taking a month to pray for God's wisdom and direction over those findings. Please join us in praying at 7AM and 7PM. We believe God is up to some incredible things and want to follow Him in those.
THANK GOD FOR NEW LIFE: THE WELCOME BASH IS THIS SUNDAY!
We'll be celebrating new life in Christ through baptisms on our front lawn on August 25. We'll bring both campuses together for worship at 9:30 and have a celebration potluck meal afterwards. Bring a lawn chair, side dish and a friend to share. Sign up for what food you will bring: https://perfectpotluck.com/QJII1968
THANK GOD FOR CHILDREN AND YOUTH: CHECK OUT THE FAM MIN BOOKLET
Our Family Ministries are working together to disciple children and youth and their families. Check out the themes, activities and ways you can be involved in the family ministry booklet: Click Here
THANK GOD FOR VOLUNTEERS: HERE'S A RECAP VIDEO OF OUR VOLUNTEER POTLUCK!
So we made a video: https://youtu.be/R1hhz_7frVg. Our next All Volunteer Potluck is November 3.
THANK GOD FOR COMMUNITY: JOIN A HOME GROUP
We are adding some NOMA Home Groups this fall that will meet in homes with the hope of maturing in Christ together. If you are interested in joining one of these groups, sign up by September 1 here: www.stillnaz.com/nomahomegroups.
THANK GOD FOR HIS BLESSINGS: RECEIVE SUNDAY'S BLESSING
Today, may you look up to the founder and perfecter of our faith and may you run with endurance the race that is marked out for you. May you have the joy He has as you overcome the struggles that come your way. May you cut the weight and sin that so easily entangles, so that your life can be a witness to others.
