Welcome Wednesday Update
Dear Family of Faith,
THANKS TO ALL THE HELPERS FOR THE BASH
We celebrated 15 baptisms on Sunday and had both of our campuses together for an incredible day! Thanks to all who greeted, hosted the games, prepared and arranged and cleaned up the food, led in worship and more. What a great example of what it looks like to be the body of Christ, with everybody doing their part.
LAST WEEK TO SIGN UP FOR FALL NOMA HOME GROUPS
We believe that No One Matures Alone, that people grow in their relationship with Christ best when they grow together with others. So, we are adding NOMA (No One Matures Alone) Home Groups to our discipleship group opportunities this Fall. We have four starting on Sept 8 and two starting on October 13. For more info and to sign up (by Sept 1): www.stillnaz.com/nomahomegroups.
PLEASE PRAY ON THE 7'S
Over the last year, our church board has been in the discernment process of what's next for our Chestnut Street Campus. At our last board meeting we received the report and recommendations from the City Campus Commission and are taking a month to pray for God's wisdom and direction over those findings. Please join us in praying at 7AM and 7PM. We believe God is up to some incredible things and want to follow Him in those.
WINNER WINNER CHICKEN DINNER
Support our team going to serve with the East Jamaica Nazarene District by attending the Chicken Dinner and Silent Auction on September 7th at 5:30PM. You can buy tickets at the Information Desk this Sunday or by calling Jessica Dedrick at 717-339-9689.
CHILD DEDICATION CELEBRATION: SEPTEMBER 28
We take seriously the role of the parent in raising their child to know Jesus and continue his mission, so we have two child dedication events per year where parents can dedicate their children to His way of life. Our next Dedication Event will be on September 28 at 4 PM with a special all church prayer on September 29 If you would like to sign up: www.stillnaz.com/children Orientation class will be on September 8 at 11!
RECEIVE SUNDAY'S BLESSING
May you be a person of burning hope, going where God sends and saying what He directs you to say. May you remember that we are part of an unshakeable kingdom and whatever excuses we offer, His promises are greater.
