Welcome Wednesday Update
Dear Family of Faith,
As we walk this Faith Series (LOOK UP!), let us be the kind of people who are, "looking to Jesus, the founder and perfecter of our faith, who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising the shame, and is seated at the right hand of the throne of God." (Hebrews 12:2)
INTERESTED IN MATURING WITH OTHERS IN A HOME GROUP?
We profoundly believe that No One Matures Alone (NOMA), which is why we provide discipleship opportunities through small groups that meet Sunday mornings and through the week. We are adding some NOMA Home Groups this fall that will meet in homes with the hope of maturing in Christ together. If you are interested in joining one of these groups, find more info here: Click Here
PRAY FOR TEEN CAMPERS
This week we have 15 teens at our District Teen Camp. Will you pray for their hearts to be open to the message of "Light It Up"? That they would allow God's light of love to shine in their hearts and commit to shining His light of truth and grace to their families, friends and schools?
CALLING ALL VOLUNTEERS! SET ASIDE AUGUST 18 FOR OUR VOLUNTEER POTLUCK!
If you volunteer in any way with any ministry at Stillmeadow, please set aside August 18 from 4:30-6:30 for our quarterly all volunteer meeting. We will gather to remember our shared vision, then divide into ministry areas to review how we're living out that vision in our ministry areas. RSVP to Karon Kagan (firstname.lastname@example.org) and sign up for your potluck item HERE. Kids are welcome and we will have someone to care for them!
WHAT WILL YOU BRING TO THE WELCOME BASH?
So, one of the cool things about the Welcome Bash is that it features a potluck, where you can share your specialty! On August 25 at 9:30, we'll gather both campuses for worship and baptisms on our front lawn and then at 11:30 we'll enjoy a meal together. Sign up for the potluck meal HERE . And please be in prayer for this event, that God would be glorified and that our family of faith would be unified!
RECEIVE THE BLESSING FROM SUNDAY
May you continue in the faith, steadfast and stable, not shifting from the hope we have in the gospel. May you take time to adore his awesomeness. May you have the courage to practice reconciliation. May you in all things be a servant of His good news!
