Welcome Wednesday Eve Update
Happy Wednesday Eve Friends!
It's our weekly update (a day early because of the national holiday)!
WEAR YOUR SANDALS ON SUNDAY!
It's the last installment of our Walking with Christ sermon series. We have walked through the first part of Mark on Sunday mornings. We've also encouraged people to follow the reading plan that goes through the entire gospel. Need to catch up? Check out our sermon blog: www.stillnaz.com/sermon-blog. If you'd like to reflect with others on the sermon topic, consider joining the MORE Class that meets on Sundays at 11AM.
OPPORTUNITY TO GIVE TO JESUS' MISSION ON OUR CHURCH DISTRICT
Our District Superintendent proclaimed the awesome truth of Jesus' willingness to be interrupted on Sunday! He also shared how the district is reaching out to share the awesome truth in DC, Annapolis, Baltimore and State College. If you didn't get a chance to give to that work! If you'd like to give, you can go to www.stillnaz.com/give and give online or through text to give. Select "StillnazOther." Prayerfully consider what you can give to continue Jesus' mission on the Mid-Atlantic District Church of the Nazarene.
SUMMER ACTIVITIES FOR THE FAMILY
We have some great stuff coming our way. Even if you can't participate, will you pray for the following?
- Teen Summer Camp: July 23-27 (open to 6th-12th grade). Register by July 6 here: https://madnyi.com/teen-camp
- Kids Camp: August 6-10 (open to 2nd-6th grades). Register your child by July 23 here: http://manaz.org/childrens-ministry.
THANK YOU TO THE YOUTH AND YOUTH WORKERS AND ALL THOSE WHO PRAYED!
Mission Week 2018 was incredible. Our youth did an excellent job showing the grace and kindness of Christ to all those they served. And our youth workers were outstanding in helping facilitate their service. We thank God for each of them. And we thank God for those of you who prayed for them during their trip. God’s kingdom is advancing because of our collaborative obedience!
THIS WEEK'S BLESSING...
May you reach out and receive Jesus as the Master of Interruptions. May your perception of interruptions be transformed to seeing them as opportunities to extend the grace of God. May your week be filled with interruptions so that others may experience His grace and healing through you!
