Welcome Wednesday Update

Dear Stillmeadow Family,

 As Job turned to the Lord in prayer, let us persist in prayer over the Amazing Things Prayer List. Let's pray daily for God to do amazing things among us. The 9 points are only a guide. Let God direct your heart to go beyond the list as well! www.stillnaz.com/prayerchallenge/prayerchallenge

Last year we had 2000 people come through our Trunk or Treat experience. And it was AWESOME! We'd love for you to be a part of it this year.  October 27 we'll be doing it on our Stillmeadow Lane campus (2-4PM) and on October 31 (6-8PM) we'll be doing it on our Chestnut Street Campus. This is an incredible way to work together as a family of God to welcome our neighbors and their families. You can sign up to help with the Stillmeadow Lane Campus here: www.stillnaz.com/trunkvolunteers2018/. If you'd like to help with our City Campus event, email pastorkent@stillnaz.com.

This Sunday at 11AM we are bringing our adult discipleship groups together with our children's and youth ministry groups! We are one big family in Christ and this is a fun and meaningful way to bring the generations together.  If you're not a part of a group on Sunday's but would like to be, this would be a great way to join in! If you'd like to, stop by the welcome desk for information about our Sunday morning groups.

It was great having Jonathan Phillips share about his service as a missionary in Romania in our worship times this past Sunday. And many of you came out to Hoss' to support his efforts. If you would like to support his ministry and didn't get a chance to contribute on Sunday you still can! Make checks out to Stillmeadow and put Jonathan Phillips in the memo line and we'll make sure that it gets his way. Or you can give online by following the instructions here: www.stillnaz.com/give. And you can find handmade Romanian items available for purchase in the library after services on Sundays.

“Naked I came from my mother’s womb,

    and naked I will depart.

The Lord gave and the Lord has taken away;

    may the name of the Lord be praised.”

Job 1:21
