Welcome Wednesday Update
Dear Family of Faith,
Wherever this message finds you, God is here. As Jeremiah was a man with a burning hope, like fire in his bones, may God’s hope dwell in your hearts as you neighbor, parent, work, perform, do homework.
GROW WITH OTHERS THIS FALL
We believe that central to discipleship is God’s call to be in a growing relationship with Himself and with others. This is why we create space for group discipleship for all ages. If you’re not involved in a group yet, check out the adult discipleship group offerings here. And here’s what we offer for children and youth here.
We have an incredible opportunity to partner with other churches and Habitat for Humanity to rebuild houses on Chestnut Street. If you’re interested in joining this adventure, please email Sue Cox at email@example.com .
PLEASE PRAY ON THE 7'S
Over the last year, our church board has been in the discernment process of what's next for our Chestnut Street Campus. Last night we received the report and recommendations from the City Campus Commission and are taking a month to pray for God's wisdom and direction over those findings. Please join us in praying at 7AM and 7PM. We believe God is up to some incredible things and want to follow Him in those.
SEPTEMBER IS ALABASTER MONTH
We are so grateful to be a part of a church family that seeks to do justice and bring the good news of Jesus around the globe. One of the ways our Nazarene church does this is through the Alabaster Offering. We will have alabaster boxes available on Sundays for you to keep as a "change collector" or you can give online and learn more at: www.nazarene.org/special-offerings.
RECEIVE SUNDAY'S BLESSING
May the God of peace through the blood of the eternal covenant, brought back from the dead, our Lord Jesus, equip you with everything good for doing His will. And may He work in us what is pleasing to Him through Jesus Christ, to whom be the glory forever and ever, Amen
