Welcome Wednesday Update
Happy Wednesday Friends!
Wow! What a joy it was to have all generations from across both campuses worshiping and feasting together on Sunday. We celebrated 8 baptisms! It was a day to celebrate God's community and His welcoming presence together. If you left a chair or a dish, we will have those available in the lobby on Sunday. Or you can contact the office at 717-764-4888 and let us know!
Also, keep praying the "Stand Tall in Prayer, Ya'll” list: www.stillnaz.com/prayer.
ARE YOU TRYING TO BE A DISCIPLE WITHOUT A COMMUNITY?
We have discipleship groups for all people at Stillmeadow, because we believe that we need to learn about Christ together and to grow in Him in the context of small group relationships. We have some new groups, including a new Tuesday night women's group starting in October and a Sunday morning 11AM class on leadership led by Pastor Ray Stark. Check out www.stillnaz.com/discipleship/ to find groups to connect with!
WANT HELP PREPARING FINANCIALLY FOR COLLEGE?
We are hosting a one time class for families (especially those with juniors and seniors) who are interested in learning more about three important strategies on preparing for sending their child to college. It will be Tuesday night, Sept 25, at 7PM in the Sprenkle House. To reserve your place, please RSVP to Ray Stark by email at firstname.lastname@example.org or by phone at 484-201-7368.
WANT TO KNOW MORE ABOUT STILLMEADOW?
There are two ways to find out! First, you could come to "Pizza with the Pastors" on Oct 7 at 12:30 on our Stillmeadow Lane Campus. There we'll give you an introduction to Stillmeadow and ways you can become involved. For a more in depth look at Nazarene beliefs and an opportunity to become a member at Stillmeadow, you can participate in our 6 week membership class on Sunday nights beginning Oct 14 at 6PM . If you're interested in pizza sign up here: www.stillnaz.com/pizza. If you're interested in the class, sign up by emailing email@example.com.
HELP OUR FALL RETREAT TEENS WITH FOOD?
At the bottom of this email you'll find a list of food items that you can donate to help feed our teens going on fall retreat! If you want to help, please contact Deb Staley (717) 880-1687. Food or Cash Donations accepted through Tuesday, September 18, 2018.
THIS WEEK'S BLESSING...
As you go on your way this week, may your eyes be open to see the opportunities to show the wonderful grace of Jesus to everybody you meet. May discrimination decrease as we daily remember that Jesus says to us “You’re worth it!” and we join Him in showing everybody else that “you’re worth it!” Amen!
