SNK Volunteer Update Email 6.01.26
Hello SNK Team!
June is here! We have a Family Service, VBS, and lots of summer fun ahead as we continue discipling the young ones who walk through our doors each Sunday in the loving way of Jesus. We are also excited to welcome Cadence Kleinfeld as a summer intern at Stillmeadow! She will be serving alongside our preschool ministry team on Sunday mornings throughout the summer.
This month, both our preschool and elementary groups will follow the VBS theme, Kingdom Quest, as we learn about God’s Kingdom together and focus on the same monthly memory verse. Since our memory verse comes from The Lord’s Prayer, families are being encouraged to practice and pray it together at home. Let’s continue reinforcing it on Sunday mornings and praying it together as a whole group as well.
Thank you for the love, care, and encouragement you pour into the children and families we serve each week. Please continue to keep them in your prayers throughout this summer season.
Important Updates &Reminders:
Elementary Hosts
Please remember to check in with the Sound/Video Tech team member serving with you each Sunday regarding any announcements that need to be shared.
During morning announcements, please take time to review Kid Connect safety expectations with the children. When giving boundaries, remember to also explain what they are allowed to do. For example: “You may play tag in an open space, but please stay off the risers and stairs.”
Elementary Storytellers & Small Group Leaders
We now have new NIV Bibles available! Please feel free to incorporate them into stories and small group time so children can practice looking up and reading Scripture together. We know our curriculum uses the NIRV translation at the elementary level, but it is ok to incorporate NIV too.
If you need additional Bibles, please reach out to me or a leadership team member serving that Sunday, and we will gladly bring more into the worship space.
All Team Members
Please remember to check tags before allowing children to leave with an adult.
Also, please take a moment to click “accept” or “decline” on your Planning Center invites, and be sure to put in your Block-out dates for the summer. Thank you!
