Stillnaz Youth Update 4.7.26

Stillmeadow Families,

I pray your Easter was filled with the hope of the resurrection, and that you carry the truth that "dead things come alive in the name of Jesus" throughout the year. I am praying that we each embrace His resurrection daily, living in hope and power, going and telling others of HIs forgiveness and freedom.

Tonight, we start our new sermon series on the book of James, "Walk the Talk!" Tonight, we will be talking about how we are all under pressure as we follow Jesus- facing trials and temptations- but that Jesus can offer us wisdom, joy, perspective, and perseverance to mold us into who He has us to be.

There is a new study on the Bible app that everyone can do together to study the book of James! You can start at any time and go through the days!

Also, we will memorize scripture every week and have a time to share it with one another, either during the service or in d-group. Those who memorize all of the scriptures for this series will have a reward at the end!

The first passage is James 1:2-4: "Consider it pure joy, my brothers and sisters, whenever you face trials of many kinds, because you know that the testing of your faith produces perseverance. Let perseverance finish its work so that you may be mature and complete, not lacking anything."

Finally, a special announcement: we will not have Insight this Sunday morning, April 12th, as we will be away at District Assembly! Look for an email from Nikki Stocker about our new Insight schedule!

In hope!
