Stillmeadow Families,
Tonight, we will continue our new sermon series on the book of James, "Walk the Talk!" Tonight, we will be talking about how the Word of God is the mirror to our souls, and we must pay attention to what it reveals to us!
There is a new study on the Bible app that everyone can do together to study the book of James! You can start at any time and go through the days!

Also, we will memorize scripture every week and have a time to share it with one another, either during the service or in d-group. Those who memorize all of the scriptures for this series will have a reward at the end!
The next passage is James 1:19-20: "My dear brothers and sisters, take note of this: Everyone should be quick to listen, slow to speak and slow to become angry, because human anger does not produce the righteousness that God desires.

This event is for current 8th through 12th graders to welcome incoming high schoolers and discuss the pressures we feel in high school. Our theme this year is "What are you running for?" (Hebrews 12:1).
