Stillnaz Youth Update 7/15/24

Stillmeadow Families,

This past week was really meaningful! I saw God at work in the lives of our teens and those around us as we went to SAGE and hosted the chicken BBQ! Also, our teen band led worship this past Sunday! I would like to say thank you to Mike and Kate for making that happen! Tomorrow is Ignite and we will be having our prayer walk! It is to be very hot so there is a possibility that our prayer walk will turn into a prayer drive with your child's d-group leader! If you are not okay with this, please let me know and we will have an adult stay back at the church with those who are not allowed to go in the car! There is also the possibility, depending on the weather, that we will walk so please send a hat and water! If you do not want your child to walk, please contact me!

Reminder, this Sunday is Rise Against Hunger. Your family is invited to stay after the second service to help this cause! Due to Rise Against Hunger, Insight is cancelled!

Mark your calendars, we have the opportunity to help York Helping Hands and hand out meals to the homeless on August 10th from 11:00am-2:00pm. There will be a registration link as it gets closer but in the meantime, we are going to collect items they may need:

socks

umbrellas

Toiletries- deodorant, shampoo soap

Clothing (used men and women)

Shoes (used men and women)

If you have any of these items, please start bringing them in on Tuesday nights!

Finally, there is a new app called "Band." We are asking all youth to download the app and search for Stillnaz Youth and request to join!

Next week is teen camp and I am going as camp counselor! In my absence, if you have any Youth ministry questions, feel free to reach out to Patsy Moses @ pmoses@stillnaz.com.

I won't be sending a weekly email out but Ignite will continue at its regular time and place under the leadership of Natalie! An email will be sent Wednesday to those of you attending teen camp with all the details!
