Stillnaz Youth Update 04.22.25
Stillmeadow Families,
I hope all of you had a great Easter! This time after Easter reminds us that we have a job to do! The disciples had expectations that they would be the top government leaders under Jesus' reign and in an instant all of those expectations are transformed. When they ask Him, is this the time Israel will be restored, He tells them to be His witnesses to the whole world. Jesus is already the world's true king, but we wait for His kingdom to come fully as we participate in His kingdom work now! May our expectations be transformed and may we go and tell the world about Jesus!
Tonight is Ignite! We will be tackling Isaiah 13-17 as we look at "Purification and Pride." God's desire is to purify us, and, in that process, pride can work against us. We are called to give up pride and turn to humility. We are called to live a life of surrender and purification instead of a life of pride. Here are some questions you can talk to your teen about!
Reflection Questions:
Have you gone through a time that was hard but you can look back and see God purifying you?
Is it hard to trust God through hard times?
What areas of your life do you struggle with pride?
How does pride keep you from fully surrendering?
Do you want to surrender your life to God and ask Him to sanctify you, leaving pride behind?
Here are some exciting sign-ups!
Next week, April 29th, parent night will be during our Family Fun Fifth Tuesday! We will then come back together to play some generational games. Please plan to join us to connect as a family with your teen and with other parents as we share and grow together!
