Thy Kingdom Come, College Finances, Family Nights

Dear Stillmeadow Family,

In Sunday’s messages at Stillmeadow Lane and York City Campus, Pastor Kent and Pastor Jade introduced the Kingdom Mission of Jesus as presented in the four gospels. Their message can be summarized like this: Jesus lived out the Kingdom Mission, proclaimed the Kingdom Message, served with the Kingdom Method and passed on a Kingdom Ministry. I encourage you to study and take to heart each aspect of Jesus’ life.

His Kingdom Mission:

Proclaiming the good news that the kingdom of God has come close and can be entered through repentance and belief. (Mark 2:14-15)

His Kingdom Message:

God loves the world and invites us into loving relationship with him and towards others. (John 3:16, Mark 12:30-31)

His Kingdom Method:

The king and kingdom members lead through service. (Matthew 20:25–28; Luke 22:25–27)

His Kingdom Ministry:

Jesus lived out the kingdom mission by teaching, proclaiming and healing, and then inviting disciples to do the same. (Matthew 4:23-24; Luke 10:1-12)

What Jesus did 2000 years ago was a revolution…and it is a revolution to this day.

I’m praying for and cheering for you as you go about this week.

In His love and power,

Josh
