Day2Pray and Prayer Night, Karon Kagan Retirement, Holidays
Dear Stillmeadow Saints,
Yesterday was filled with joy, from the Family Advent Experience to the Eastside Thanksgiving Dinner. Thanks to all who participated and helped! We served 1100 meals at the dinner. And all of our nursing home blessing gift tags were taken (don’t forget to return them by Dec 7). Praise God!
Tomorrow is A Day2Pray (November 25)
Last month we began the monthly routine of setting aside 24 hours as a church to pray. We want to experience the life-changing power of God in our midst and in our community like we see in the prayer-filled life of the church of Acts. So, we’re calling on you to join in.
You can participate in one or two ways. 1) You can set aside an hour to pray, using the prayer guide at the bottom of the prayer request page. Some of you signed up for an hour on the list outside the worship center, and others are keeping your spot from last month. If you didn’t sign up, just choose an hour that works for you. And 2) You can join us for Prayer Night from 6:30-8:00 at Stillmeadow Lane.
This is a week to be thankful
During this week of gratitude, know that I and the pastoral team at Stillmeadow are so thankful for each of you. And we’re thankful for the expressions of appreciate you shared during Pastor’s Appreciation Month. But more, we thank God we get to be on the planet at the same time as you, to witness the work of his Spirit and participate in the mission of his Son together.
Gratefully,
Josh
PS If you missed the services yesterday, we missed you! Check out the message at Stillmeadow Lane and York City Campus.
