Our Next All Church Series Begins Oct 1, and more!

Hello Church Fam,

One of the ways that we “embrace unity” as a church is to have an “all church series” when we invite kids, youth and adult ministries across both campuses to focus on the same set of scriptures in the same period of time. These can be catalyzing experiences in the life of the church, moments that allow us space to keep in step with the Spirit together.

From October 1-29, we want to align our spirits and hearts around Jesus’ words in Matthew 21-22. Pastor John, Pastor Chris, Pastor Jade and Chastity and Pastor Rachel will all be preaching throughout this series.

I want to challenge you to…

  1. Make every effort to come every Sunday.

  2. Jump into a discipleship group to wrestle with the question of the week.

  3. Do the daily readings.

  4. Pray the daily prayers.

If you aren’t in a group: sign up here.

If you’d like to follow the daily readings and prayers: grab a guide at the welcome desk or download them here.

How Not To Be The Church

A brief look at Matthew 21-22 and you’ll see that Jesus was confronting the religious establishment of his day, providing correction in love, inviting them and us to leave behind unrepentant, fruitless, inattentive, hypocritical and unloving lives. So, we’re titling this series: “How Not To Be The Church.” What Jesus confronted then, he wants to cleanse today.

I’m praying that this will be a purifying time for our church, as we allow the Holy Spirit to reveal the areas of our lives that are resistant to His work and His way, so that we can Be the Church and Serve the World as He has destined us to be and do. I’m praying with hope-filled anticipation that God will deepen our dependence on Him and interdependence on each other through this series.

Will you pray for me and each other in this?

Youth Ministry Announcement, Chicken Dinner and more

Dear Family of God,

Would you pray with us through the transition?

On Tuesday night, Pastor Chris shared with the youth ministry family that God has called him to serve as a prison chaplain in Loretto, PA. This means that we are moving into a transition season as we wrap up Chris’ time of service with us and prepare for what’s next in youth and young adult ministry. We are so grateful for the last four years we have shared with Pastor Chris and Emily. And we believe that God is going to use this transition to strengthen our youth and young adult ministry. Just as God called Chris to take this next step, He is preparing our youth and young adult ministry for their next step. So, please pray with me as we begin to plan the best path forward for this transition.

Read more about the transition here.

Let’s pray for “endurance and encouragement” through this transition so that we can live into this blessing from Paul in Romans 15:5.

“May the God who gives endurance and encouragement give you the same attitude of mind toward each other that Christ Jesus had, so that with one mind and one voice you may glorify the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ.” (Romans 15:5)

Living out real love in groups, ministries, prayers and generosity

Dear Family of God,

On Sunday we began to explore Paul’s call to “Love unhypocritically” in Romans 12:9. The NIV translates it “Love must be sincere.” And it seems that the rest of the letter to Romans is unpacking what it means to love in a real way in the real community of believers and the real neighborhood of the world.

I’ve heard it said that the family is like a laboratory for the maturing of children and parents alike. Could it be that the church is a kind of “real love laboratory”? The church is the place and people in which God is renewing our thinking, transforming our character, strengthening our will to show love to all people in all things at all times.

This is why each one of us matters. “We have different gifts, according to the grace given to each of us” (Romans 12:6). And those gifts are meant to be used in small groups, in ministry, in regular prayer and in faithful generosity. Sometimes these things are easy to join in and stick with, and other times these things require determination. So, let Paul’s blessing in Romans 15:5 be an encouragement as you consider how you will live out God’s love this fall in a small group, ministry team, dedication to prayer and in giving. The rest of the email gives opportunities for you to join in.

“May the God who gives endurance and encouragement give you the same attitude of mind toward each other that Christ Jesus had, so that with one mind and one voice you may glorify the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ.” (Romans 15:5)

Why Your Presence at the Welcome Bash matters, and more

Dear Family of God,

As God formed the community of the Israelites, he gave them a multitude of feasts. And while these feasts featured eating and fellowship, food and friendship were not the primary point. Each feast pointed back to a core part of the identity of the Israelite’s covenantal relationship with God. It was a sacred time set aside to remember God’s care, celebrate His provision, and renew their commitment to God and His way.

With that in mind, one of the most significant milestones in the life of Stillmeadow was the re-establishment of our work and partnership in the city through our York City Campus (nearly 20 years). Our Welcome Bash is one of our ways of remembering God’s care for us and our city and county, celebrating His provision of our church family and renewing our commitment to God’s call on us as a church.

That’s why your presence matters! You have a vital role in sharing the good news with our neighbors. So, come out on Sunday at 10AM to our Stillmeadow Lane Campus. Below you’ll find the basic schedule and 7 ways to prepare for the Welcome Bash.

Schedule (because some folks like to know!)

10AM Worship (Family Life Center)

11AM Baptisms (Family Life Center)

11:30AM Food Trucks, Bounce Houses, Kickball (Upper Parking Lot)

2:30PM Clean Up (Upper Parking Lot)

7 Ways to Prepare for the Bash on Sunday

  1. Pray for the unity of our church family, for those getting baptized, for the guests who will be with us, for our guest preacher Bryan Todd.

  2. Bring a gift card to Target, Kohls or Walmart to assist Guidance Counselors at Goode, Roundtown and Sinking Springs Elementary. You can put them in the offering baskets.

  3. Plan to introduce yourself to 2-5 people you do not know or recognize. Practice welcome! See if you can find folks not from your own service, group or campus.

  4. Invite your friends and family members that you’ve been praying for. Witnessing baptisms and hearing testimonies and sharing food together are all great ways for people to be exposed to the life changing good news of Jesus.

  5. Share your seat. Since we’ll be combining all three weekend services into one, it is likely that your regular chair will be occupied. Pretend the person in “your seat” is Jesus himself and treat them accordingly.

  6. Plan to stay after the service for fellowship. Bring money for lunch at the Food Trucks (Mr. Frosty, Smoke-n-Hogs, Taqueria El Camino, & Z&D Fries). We will have a tent with tables for eating together, but feel free to bring lawn chairs and blankets to cheer on the kickball teams.

  7. Pray. Did I say that already? Yes, but as Paul says, “Be faithful in prayer” (Rom 12:12). What’s wild to me is that Jesus prayed for unity in the church (John 17) and is right now praying for us (Hebrews 7:25, Romans 8:34). So, when we pray, we’re joining Him in the work that He is doing! And when we practice Christian unity in worship and fellowship, we’re living out His prayer!

One last thing: if you or someone you know is still interested in being baptized and haven’t signed up, we’d love to celebrate that. Please sign up at the button below. Just note: we’ll have a time of instruction at 9 before the service.

Gift Cards for School Guidance Counselors — Often schools and counseling offices help meet basic needs of their students by purchasing needed items. 3 Ways to Respond to Maui Fires, and more

Dear Family,

Our current mini-series in the letter to the Romans is about “Sharing the Gospel.” Sharing the gospel is more than words, but also acts of love. As we see Romans 13:8-9 says, “Let no debt remain outstanding, except the continuing debt to love one another, for whoever loves others has fulfilled the law. The commandments, “you shall not commit adultery,”…”murder,”…”steal,”…”covet,” and whatever other command there may be, are summed up in this one command: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’”

As citizens of God’s kingdom, we are called to see and love every human as our neighbor, no matter where they are from. This includes the people who have suffered devastating loss in the wildfires of Maui (read about it here). So, here are three ways to respond in love to the fires of Maui.

1. Pray (from Nazarene Compassionate Ministries August 11 Prayer Email)

While searches for survivors continue, Nazarene churches are providing care to neighbors and vacationers in need. Kahului Church of the Nazarene and Pukalani Community Church of the Nazarene have opened their facilities to shelter evacuees from affected areas.

All members of Pukalani church survived the fire, but two families lost their businesses. Yesterday, the church was able to send food and supplies to Lahaina, where fires destroyed the entire town, and they continue to offer food, water, clothing, showers, and toiletries to anyone in need.

We pray for the residents of Maui and visitors to the island who have been impacted by these wildfires. For those who are grieving the loss of loved ones, or who don’t yet know if their loved ones are safe, we pray for peace and comfort. Provide strength and encouragement to all first responders, and all who must rebuild their lives after devastating loss. Lord, hear our prayers.

2. Financially Support Relief Efforts through local Nazarene Church

WorldVision is working with Pukalani Nazarene. You can give directly to WorldVision here. And you can give directly to the church here.

3. Pack a Crisis Care Kit

We have been collecting Crisis Care Kits for such a time as this. And because of your help the Nazarene Compassionate MInistries center in Fawn Grove just shipped out a container of Crisis Care Kits to Maui. This means we’ll need to restock the Ministry Center for the next crisis. Here’s how to pack a kit.

And let’s pray for the Welcome Bash and Baptism Day on August 27. Let’s ask God to unify Stillmeadow, to use the Welcome Bash as a place for non-believers and newer believers to experience His hospitality through His people, to bless the Food Truck Teams (Mr. Frosty, Smoke-n-Hogs, Taqueria El Camino, & Z&D Fries) as they prepare, to use the event to strengthen the relational bonds between generations and campuses.

As you pray, Save the Date! Sunday August 27th at 10AM at the Stillmeadow Lane Campus! Worship Service will be in the Family Life Center and Food Trucks and games will be outside after the service. If you would like to be baptized you can sign-up here.

Let’s pray for our unsaved and lost neighbors and families

On Sunday, many church family members came to the altars and prayed for those who do not yet know the power and love of God personally. Let’s continue those prayers and pound heaven on their behalf. If you’d like to share the name of your loved one so we can pray with you, share it below.

Give with us

God has given each of us gifts for us to share. In addition to giving a regular tithe, consider helping with our Crisis Care Kits or Gift Cards for School Guidance Counselors.

Crisis Care Kits —One way the Church of the Nazarene supports people facing natural and humanitarian disasters is through Crisis Care Kits. These are little packs that help meet basic needs. If you’d like to help, you can build kits of your own and bring them into Stillmeadow. You can find the list and instructions HERE.

Gift Cards for School Guidance Counselors — Often schools and counseling offices help meet basic needs of their students by purchasing needed items. We’d like to show our support by collecting gift cards from Target, Walmart and Kohls for Guidance Counselors as they serve at Goode, Sinking Springs and Roundtown Elementary (the three closest elementary schools to our two campuses). Bring your gift cards to the Welcome Bash and put them in the offering!

Blessing the next generation

Dear Family,

Blessing the next generation

There are a many ways to “bless” another person. As a church, we are called to bless through prayer, encouragement and generosity. Here are three ways that we can bless the next generation over the next week!

If you read this today (Thursday, August 10), you can pray for the 5 kids and 2 workers going to kids camp from August 7-11. Let’s ask God to speak to the kids like He spoke to Samuel in the Old Testament and Mary in the New Testament. Let’s ask God to encourage the workers. And when we know not how to pray, let’s allow the Spirit to pray (Romans 8:26).

And when you come to church this Sunday (August 13), you can pray for the kids, youth and teachers on Blessing of the Backpack Sunday. After we pray for them, find a way to bless them with a word of encouragement.

Last Sunday was Sergio Paul’s last Sunday to serve as Summer Intern. You can bless him by investing in his future by giving to the Intern Fund, which goes directly to a scholarship for his studies at Temple University. Click here to give online.

Pray with Jesus for Kids Camp and the Welcome Bash

Dear Family,

Prayer is a mystery we are invited into…

In Romans 8, Paul gives us two mysteries about prayer to ponder. First, as believers, we have the Holy Spirit in us, praying for us (Romans 8:26). Second, we have “Christ Jesus who died—more than that, who was raised to life—is at the right hand of God and is also interceding for us” (Romans 8:34).

Right now, and for all time, the three Persons of the Trinity are lovingly communicating with each other about me and you.

Whoa.

Keep that in mind with what I’m saying next. When we pray, we enter into that loving communication process. When we ask God for help, when we reach out for guidance, when we lift our soul to His, we are wrapped up in divine love.

When we pray for others…we’re stepping into the divine stream of love for those people. So, let’s pray for the 5 kids and 2 workers going to kids camp from August 7-11. Let’s ask God to speak to the kids like He spoke to Samuel in the Old Testament and Mary in the New Testament. Let’s ask God to encourage the workers. And when we know not how to pray, let’s allow the Spirit to pray (Romans 8:26).

And let’s pray for the Welcome Bash and Baptism Day on August 27. Family Worship and Rise Against Hunger this Sunday

Dear Family,

Family Worship is this Sunday, July 30!

One of the most important things we do as a church is pass the faith along to the next generation. This isn’t just about passing “information” along, as if reciting theology is our goal. No, this is about sharing the essential practices that help us become like Jesus.

How are they going to know Jesus and how are they going to know how to worship Him and grow in Him? Relationships with others who know and worship and serve Jesus. That’s how. Our family ministry events are about building and sustaining relationships through which our children and youth can encounter Jesus in each other and in the lives of the generations ahead of them.

And this Sunday we get to both Worship Together and Serve Together across generations. We’ll pray, praise, and learn together in the Worship Services and then we’ll join our hands and hearts in ministry during the Rise Against Hunger event right after the 10:30 service. And FYI, we will have our nursery open for our 0 - 2 year olds during the worship services.

During our Worship Service together, we’re going to recite the Apostle’s Creed together. This statement reminds us of the essential beliefs of our faith, the ones that unite us with other Christians across denominational lines. Slowly read over this and give thanks to God for the story that shapes us.

“I believe in God the Father Almighty,

Maker of heaven and earth;

“And in Jesus Christ, His only Son, our Lord;

who was conceived by the Holy Spirit,

born of the Virgin Mary,

suffered under Pontius Pilate,

was crucified, dead, and buried;

He descended into hell;

the third day He rose again from the dead;

He ascended into heaven,

and sits at the right hand of God the Father Almighty;

from thence He shall come to judge the quick and the dead.

“I believe in the Holy Spirit,

the holy Church of Jesus Christ,

the communion of saints,

the forgiveness of sins,

the resurrection of the body,

and the life everlasting.”

Pray for Camp, Family Worship and Rise Against Hunger on July 30

Dear Church,

How has God been speaking to you this summer?

We’ve been reading Romans together as a church. It’s been neat to see friends on the Bible app putting highlights or notes on the texts for the day. God’s word is timeless and transformative. I’m curious to hear how He has been speaking to you or to hear what questions have been stirring in you as you’ve been reading. Feel free to drop me an email at pastorjosh@stillnaz.com. I’m praying for you as you read, that God would speak to you and encourage your heart in the middle of your circumstances.

Pray for our youth at Camp this week

Our teens are heading to camp from July 24-28. Let’s cover those 26 teens and 5 adults in prayer as they gather for worship, small groups and service at Rhodes Grove Campground.

Family Worship on July 30

We have a Family Service on the 5th Sunday of the month. Our kids (3 years and up) join us for worship. Some kids and teens will help with part of the service, and we will have a kid's lesson/sermon right before the main sermon.  It is important for our kids to worship with the church as a whole and for the church to worship with our kids.  We are a church family experiencing Jesus in All Generations. And cool story, we’ll transition from the 10:30 service right into our Rise Against Hunger Event where families can serve together.

We will have our nursery open for our babies- 2 year olds during the worship services.

God IN us, Family Worship and Rise Against Hunger on July 30

Dear Church,

Chew on this for a bit. It’s our memory verse for the next section of sermons out of Romans.

And if the Spirit of him who raised Jesus from the dead is living in you, he who raised Christ from the dead will also give life to your mortal bodies because of his Spirit who lives in you. Romans 8:11

Did you catch that? Go back and read it again.

This is all about how God brings his resurrection life to us by the power of His Holy Spirit IN US. We do not earn this life, we do not achieve this life, we receive this life.

It makes me think of something Rich Villodas said at NYC23 last week.

“Holiness is not something we achieve, it’s something we receive.”

As we continue to explore the letter to the Romans together, let’s keep that in mind. To become like Christ is a miracle that God does within us as we put our faith in Him.

And cool story, click the button below and you can watch that message from Rich Villodas.

Welcome Bash & Baptism

Save the Date! Sunday August 27th at 10AM at the Stillmeadow Lane Campus! Worship Service will be in the Family Life Center and Food Trucks and games will be outside after the service. If you would like to be baptized you can sign-up here.

NYC Begins Today, Rise Against Hunger is soon!

Dear Church,

On Sunday, in addition to wrapping up our first part of our Romans Series (we’ll start “God IN Us” on July 9), we also took time to pray for the 30+ Stillmeadow participants who have gone to Tampa Bay for Nazarene Youth Conference 2023.

And cool story, click the button below and you can tune into the services with them! Let’s continue to pray together for them.

One of my favorite Stillmeadow events last year was when we participated in Rise Against Hunger. We were a part of RAH’s work of distributing 67.6 million meals. Rise Against Hunger targets remote, last-mile communities within hunger pockets designated “serious” or higher by the Global Hunger Index, and works with local leaders to harness the strengths of their communities and tackle their own food and nutrition security challenges with agency, dignity and resilience. Check out RAH’s 2022 stats below. And plan to participate by serving on July 30 and/or giving to help us meet our goal of 10,000 meals for $4000. Keep reading the email and find how to sign up and to give.

Pray for NYC, Prep for Rise Against Hunger

Dear Church,

This Sunday we began a new series out of Romans, especially focusing on the “good news!”

When I went to Nazarene Youth Conference in 1999, God met me and transformed me and set me on His path. I am still living out what He called me to in Toronto my senior summer. I wonder what He’s going to do with this generation of NYC youth. Will you pray with me for our youth and all the youth going to NYC23 in Tampa next week? We’ll be having a special prayer time this Sunday (July 2).

Last year we packed over 10,000 meals for Rise Against Hunger. And we’re going to do it again this year on July 30.

Believe who Jesus is, Foster Care Initiative, and more

Dear Church,

What an incredible week of VBS and Mission Week it has been. Thank you to all who have served and invited! Our theme on the second night of VBS was “Believe who Jesus is” which fits perfectly with this first part of our Sunday series in Romans!

When Paul started his letter, he was sure to point out the central role of “faith” (i.e. believing in Jesus) in the church. He said: '“For in the gospel the righteousness of God is revealed — a righteousness that is by faith from first to last, just as it is written: ‘The righteous will live by faith.’” (Romans 1:17)

Yes, God is calling us to a trusting relationship with Him. He is not giving us a new set of rules to live by. That’s why Paul said: “For we maintain that a person is justified by faith apart from the works of the law.” (Romans 3:28)

This is “the message concerning faith that we proclaim: if you declare with your mouth, ‘Jesus is Lord,’ and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it with your mouth that you profess your faith and are saved.” (Romans 10:8-10)

Do you believe? Do you believe that God conquered death, that God is greater than sin, that God is the just judge and that Jesus is the only One who can save us? That belief changes our present and our future. I encourage you, if you haven’t declared out loud, to say a prayer today saying, “Jesus is Lord” over all of your life. And then tell somebody about it! (my email is pastorjosh@stillnaz.com if you want to tell me!)

General Assembly Update, Prayers for VBS and Mission Week

Dear church,

What an incredible privilege to be a part of a church family that literally spans the globe. I have been at our General Assembly (happens every four years!) in Indianapolis. I wish each of you could be here, but here’s a quick summary with links to the services.

On Friday night of General Assembly we saw flags from every nation where the Church of the Nazarene serves

On Saturday night, we heard from General Superintendent Gustavo Crocker (who ordained Pastor’s Chris, Rachel, and Ronnie) about how all of us are called.

And Sunday morning's message from General Superintendent David Graves included an incredible image of how God lavishes his love on us and demonstrated his love for us in Jesus Christ. Right in the middle of the message was the memory verse for our current series!

Sunday evening’s message from General Superintendent Davis Busic is iconic. He got to the heart of the Nazarene story of risk-taking love and holy living.

On Monday morning, General Superintendent Carla Sunberg (who ordained Pastor Jade) gave the quadrennial address (state of the union), with the winsome tag-line: "Good Morning." If you want a glimpse of God's incredible work in the global Nazarene church, take the time to listen in.

And Monday evening, General Superintendent Fili Chambo asked “What does it mean to say ‘Jesus is Lord’ in the chaos?” He invited us to remember that the chaos in the world does not have the final word, because Jesus is Lord.

You can view all the services here.

Pray with me for VBS and Mission Week

This week has been a powerful reminder that what we do together to serve each other and our neighbors for the sake of Christ makes a difference for eternity. Events like Vacation Bible School can be the start or restart for someone’s spiritual journey. Pray with me for VBS and consider who you can invite. You can register here or sign up at the door.

At the same time, we will have some of our middle school youth serving in York County. Pray with me for those young people and youth workers!

06.08 Pray for General Assembly and Stillnaz Summer

Dear Church,

This Sunday we began a new series out of Romans, especially focusing on the “good news!” Our memory verse for this part of our series is Romans 5:8. Notice that Paul uses the “active” tense when he says, “God demonstrates.” For Paul, God’s love is an active force for us. Ponder on that as you memorize this verse.

But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us. (Romans 5:8)

Pray for General Assembly

Tomorrow, June 9, the Nazarene General Assembly begins. It is an incredible privilege to be a part of a denomination sharing God’s life-changing news across the globe. As the delegates gather in Indianapolis, let us pray Jesus’ prayer in John 17 over them, asking God that “they may be brought to complete unity…so that the world will know that [God the Father] sent [Jesus] and have loved them even as [God the Father has loved Jesus].”

Romans 5:8 says, “But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.” This gets at the heart of God’s heart. Before we could move an inch towards him, he made the move towards us, to reconcile, rebuild, restore, resurrect us. Our 2023 Summer Series is going through the letter Paul wrote to the Romans, in which he carefully explains the “for us” nature of God’s love.

And how do we receive this God? How do we participate in this love? We believe. “For in the gospel the righteousness of God is revealed — a righteousness that is by faith from first to last, just as it is written: “the righteous will live by faith.” (Romans 1:17)

As we enter this new series, you are invited to read through Romans yourself. Download the reading plan here.

And as we enter this new series, let us join our hearts in concentrated prayer for York City and County. Our neighbors need to know the good news that God is for us. As we pray for our neighbors, God moves our hearts and lives to demonstrate His love. We have a prayer plan at www.stillnaz.com/pray.

Pray through and Prepare for 2023 Summer Plans

And as you read and pray, will you also pray for the children, youth, adults and workers involved in our major summer events?

Our Summer Intern, A Surprise Guest for Grad Sunday and Camps!

Dear Church,

On Sunday, we drew our 1 Peter series to a close! I am looking forward to our Summer Series (This is the Gospel) that starts on June 4.

I have loved this encouragement to “Grow Up” from 1 Peter. And I love that Stillmeadow has a legacy of helping young people “grow up” through our internships. These have been rich opportunities to grow with someone as they explore God’s call on their lives.

And in this season of graduations, it’s a reminder of how we as a congregation walk beside young people and parents as they “grow up” through the educational journey.

And as we enter the season of summer camps, we have the opportunity to help teens and kids “grow up” through sacred encounters with God and his people from across our Nazarene district.

Check out how you can be involved in each of these opportunities below…

Support Our Summer Intern

Sergio Paul is serving as our summer intern within our worship technology ministry.   Please join us in continuing to support Sergio by donating toward his college education. If you are giving online choose “Intern Fund” or write intern in the memo of your check or you can use this link.

Pancake Breakfast, Graduates and Summer Camps!

Dear Church,

As we continue through the first letter that Peter wrote to the early church, I’m curious what themes God is bringing to your attention or what actions He is calling you to do? I’d love to hear. Share with me here: pastorjosh@stillnaz.com.

God keeps bringing to my attention the “exile” theme, where Peter recognizes that the people who have been “called out of darkness into His wonderful light” (2:9) are “foreigners and exiles” (2:11) in this world. But I am challenged that Peter calls these “exiles” not to live opposed to people in the world, but to live as good neighbors and “show proper respect to everyone, love the family of believers, fear God, honor the emperor” (2:17).

God, help us live without fear of others, and live with reverence for Your Son.

Jesus, thank You for giving us an example of living with love in the face of hate and for giving your life “to bring [us] to God” (3:18).

Spirit, keep before us your eternal goodness and strengthen us to “continue to do good” (4:19).

We are passionate about helping people of all ages experience being called out of darkness into God’s wonderful light, and especially creating environments for our young people to hear God’s voice and follow His Call. That’s why we celebrate our Grads and why we encourage families to send their kids and teens to summer camp. Read the details below…

Facilities Manager, Graduates and VBS!

Dear Church,

“Love one another deeply, from the heart.” (1 Peter 1:22) Peter’s encouragement is to do more than give lip service to the three words (I love you) that are said too much and maybe not enough.

In our current series about growing up in our salvation, this is a point we dare not miss: Growth in Christ is always growth in love. Each of the steps of the journey of growth is about receiving His love and becoming more like Him to show His love.

Two ways we want to grow in love together as a congregation are in the hiring of a new facilities manager and in celebrating our graduates.

Now Hiring Facilities Team Manager

We’re looking for someone who has a vision to care for the building resources that have been entrusted to us. Duties include: supervising the custodial staff, with custodial duties as a part of the hours, overseeing the scheduling and usage of our facilities, and purchasing supplies. For more details and an opportunity to serve in this way, contact Pastor Kent at pastorkent@stillnaz.com or 717-577-4246.
