Corrected: VBS and SUN Ministry, Grad Sunday, Summer Kickoff and Camps
Dear Stillmeadow Family,
(sorry to clog your box with two emails at the start of the week, but we sent out the wrong message yesterday and wanted to get the right info to you!)
To all the mother’s and all the women of our congregation, may you experience the nearness of our God’s love as you read these words and go about your week.
On Sunday we looked at how Elisha and Jesus both met the physical and spiritual needs of their neighbors whether they were local or foreigners. The mission of God is not limited to people who are like us. The mercy of God is not narrow but wide enough for all people.
I encourage you to check out the message from Stillmeadow Lane and York City.
I also encourage you to prayerfully consider how you can serve the kiddos, widows, untouchables and outsiders of our day. You can find ways to serve on our Serve Page. We’ve got a team going to help with a Habitat House this Friday. And I would love if you served with our Vacation Bible School and/or our Stillnaz Unique Needs (SUN) Ministry. Sign up for VBS Volunteering here where you can also sign up for SUN Ministry.
If we are going to be a community that lives like Elisha and Jesus in our day, we’ll need to
1) confess where we fall short in caring like them
2) commit to caring for the kiddos, widows, untouchables and outsiders
3) ask for eyes to see and hands to serve with God’s mercy.
By God’s grace and with his peace, we can do this.
Praying and cheering for you.
Josh
PS It’s not too late to jump into the reading plan. We’re in Isaiah this week. Check out our reading page here.

Eastern Nazarene College Update
Stillmeadow is part of the Mid-Atlantic District, which is part of the Eastern Field, which is part of the USA/Canada Nazarene Region. On the Eastern Field, Eastern Nazarene College was our “home college.” Recently the Board of Trustees made the difficult decision to close the college. ENC"‘s last day will be May 30, 2025. Please see the letter from Dr. David Bowser, who both serves as our District Superintendent and the Chair of the ENC Board of Trustees. The letter outlines the process of decision-making that led to the closure, as well as plans for the coming days. Today, we thank God for the impact of ENC over the past 100+ years.

Volunteer at VBS and with SUN Ministry
Let’s say it again. Vacation Bible School is an all-hands on deck service to the kids of our of community and we would love to have you join.
And Stillmeadow Unique Needs Ministry is a way to proclaim and share the good news about Jesus with everyone! Some of our children with unique needs can participate fully without support in Kids Ministry and VBS, while other children need one-to-one adult support. In both situations, a SUN volunteer is available to help the child. To volunteer go to stillnaz.com/vbsvol25.
