Grad Sunday, Summer Kickoff, VBS and Camps
Dear Stillmeadow Family,
Yesterday we celebrated the mission and impact of Stillmeadow Childcare Center that meets within our building. We are blessed to have this partnership. We also announced that they will be updating their playground within the next couple months. Check out yesterday’s service (insert link to youtube) to see more!
We also received a message of encouragement from the prophet Isaiah. That book of the Bible is PACKED with goodness (almost every chapter is quoted in the New Testament!). But we centered our attention on the passage where Isaiah received his call to be a prophet: Isaiah 6:1-9a. We firmly believe that, just like Isaiah, each of us has a call from God for our lives. Isaiah was called to serve the people of his day, and he said, “Here I am Lord, send me.”
Here I am Lord; send me.
May this be our heart’s prayer every morning, no matter our circumstance. We are called to serve our families, our neighbors, our caretakers, our friends, even our enemies with the love that Jesus has shared with us through his life, death and resurrection.
Praying for and cheering for you to have the attitude and prayer of Isaiah.
Sent with you,
Josh

Baptisms June 8th!
Have you given your life to Jesus? The next step is to be baptized!
Baptism is the ancient symbol of the church to recognize that a person has been cleansed of their sins, has died to their old way of life and has been raised to Jesus’ way of life. For the baptized it is an opportunity to say “I am all in” to the way of Jesus.

Eastern Nazarene College Update
Stillmeadow is part of the Mid-Atlantic District, which is part of the Eastern Field, which is part of the USA/Canada Nazarene Region. On the Eastern Field, Eastern Nazarene College was our “home college.” Recently the Board of Trustees made the difficult decision to close the college. ENC"‘s last day will be May 30, 2025. Please see the letter from Dr. David Bowser, who both serves as our District Superintendent and the Chair of the ENC Board of Trustees. The letter outlines the process of decision-making that led to the closure, as well as plans for the coming days. Today, we thank God for the impact of ENC over the past 100+ years.

We have lifegroups of all kinds to deeper our walk as we learn to intentionally share faith and life together in community while practicing the mission of Jesus through conversation, fellowship, prayer, service, and intimacy. You can find a list of our lifegroups at stillnaz.com/lifegroups.
