VBS Begins tonight, Camps are soon, Discipleship and Donuts
Dear Stillmeadow Family!
What a treasure it was to have our Summer Kickoff yesterday on Pentecost Sunday! We brought together both of our campuses and the Haitian congregation for one service under the theme: “Would you do it again, Lord?”
The theme comes from Habakkuk 3:2.
LORD, I have heard of your fame;
I stand in awe of your deeds, LORD.
Repeat them in our day,
in our time make them known;
Let’s pray that God would repeat himself in our day.
Let’s pray that God would empower his people to share his good news, that people of all languages would hear and respond to Jesus, that many would repent and be baptized, that the church would be united by his Spirit.
Let’s pray for the seven who were baptized yesterday (5 youth, y’all!).
And let’s pray for Vacation Bible School that begins tonight! VBS has been a transformational experience for many over the years. Let’s pray that God uses these moments to win the hearts of young people and families alike.
I’m grateful for and cheering for you this morning!
In Christ’s love,
Josh
PS If you missed the service, watch it here.
