Youth Cornhole BBQ, Rise Against Hunger, Cuban PK’s Blessing
Dear Stillmeadow Family,
Yesterday we wrapped up our study of the Old Testament prophets with a message on the “post-exilic” prophets Haggai, Zechariah and Malachi. Each prophet had a word for the people of their time, but a timeless truth for our time. As you move into this week, consider one or more of these four questions. I encourage you to explore this and share with a trusted friend.
If you need to be more intentional, how can you give careful thought to your ways?
If you need God’s Spirit, what is something you can do to make room for the Spirit?
If you need to increase your acts of mercy, where can you begin?
If you need faith to endure, ask the Sun of Righteousness for help.
I’m grateful for each of you, cheering for each of you and praying for you. Remember, “it is not by might, nor by power, but by [God’s] Spirit” (Zechariah 4) that we will prevail in our spiritual journey.
Cuban PK Backpack Blessing
We have a growing number of Nazarene churches in Cuba and have an opportunity to bless the PK’s (Pastor’s Kids). Pastor Osmany Espinosa of Dover Mountain Chapel Church of the Nazarene has invited us to provide a backpack and a pair of shoes for 25 boys and 18 girls, at roughly $30 per child, for a total of $1300. This would bless these pastor’s who average about $10 per month in pay. Would you give $30 for one child, or $120 for four children? Give HERE to “Cuban” in your giving.

On July 27, from 12:15-2:00, we’re going to pack 10,000 meals at our York City Campus. You can be involved by serving at the event (click the serve button below) or by giving towards the goal of $4000 (give to “Rise Against Hunger” online or via check).
