Foster Care Initiative, Gather and Give, Advent Experience, Thanksgiving Dinner
Dear Stillmeadow Saints,
Be encouraged and challenged by what the author to the Hebrews said in 11:1-3. Each line is like a rung on a ladder, leading upward to Jesus. Each has something to celebrate, contemplate and apply. I encourage you to slowly engage this and revisit it through the week.
1 Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles. And let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us, 2 fixing our eyes on Jesus, the pioneer and perfecter of faith. For the joy set before him he endured the cross, scorning its shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God. 3 Consider him who endured such opposition from sinners, so that you will not grow weary and lose heart.
Seriously, go back and read that again.
I am grateful for you and the cloud of witnesses that we are surrounded by. I am praying for perseverance in the race marked out for you, for awe-filled attention to Jesus in all things. He finished the race already and is cheering you on in yours.

Grow with us in a Course
Courses- We are all on a discipleship pathway here in Stillmeadow and we have many intermittent courses that help equip each of us in spiritual formation. Our courses can be found at stillnaz.com/courses.
Serve with us in the Foster Care Initiative
Become a resource family - Our goal is to have more than enough foster families than children in care. Is God calling you to answer the call to open your home? You will be contacted and guided through the process.
Join a Stillnaz care community - 90% of foster parents will quit fostering before the 2 year mark. With a supportive community, 90% of them will foster past 2 years. A few hours a week of support can make a huge difference for foster parents and the children they serve. The Care Community will commit to: At least 1 year of service to the family, provide 1 meal a week, babysitting at least once month and meeting the needs the family may have throughout their fostering journey.
Lead a Care Community-Each Care Community needs a coordinator to be the point person for the resource family and the Care Community. This coordinator will connect with the resource family regularly about their needs and communicate those needs to the rest of the Care Community
Join Gateway - Sign up to receive emails of tangible needs posted by caseworkers that you can meet. Keyfam.org/gatewayform
