Advent Theme: Joy, Our Holiday Schedule and YA Retreat

Happy Advent Dear Friends,

On this third week of Advent we focus on the theme of Joy. We believe that true joy is found in Jesus, the Lion of Judah and the Lamb who was slain, “whose blood purchased people from every tribe and language and people and nation…to be a kingdom and priests to serve our God.” (Revelation 5:9-10) Read that description again!

What Jesus did for us on the cross was to bring together the beautiful diversity of humanity into a singular kingdom with the sacred task of serving our God. The scene of worship in Revelation 5 is an inspiring reminder that the only one worthy of worship is God!

So, as we go about this season, let us worship the one who is worthy of it all. Let us beware of putting our trust and devotion in anything less than the eternal Victor, Jesus Christ.

If you missed the 3rd Sunday of Advent with us, be encouraged by Sunday’s messages of Joy from Pastor Josh (Stillmeadow Lane) and Pastor Jade and Chastity (York City Campus).

Gratefully Yours,

Josh
