Follow Jesus, Fish for People // Chili/Soup Cookoff Details, New Directors
Happy New Year Friends,
This has been a weird week with the snow and cold weather. If you missed Sunday’s Snow Day message, you can see it here. The basic encouragement was from Matthew 4:12-23 where Jesus called his first disciples to “Follow me, and I will make you fishers of men.” In a sense, Jesus is the unifying net cast across the sea of the world to draw people in. When we follow him, he transforms us into people who gather others up into his redemption plan. That’s the baby step to take: “Follow Jesus and Become a Gatherer.”
With the snow changes, we moved our Chili/Soup Cookoff and Kent Vandervort Retirement Party to this Sunday. See the details below and join in the fun!
We want to hear from you
In this year of “embracing unity” we want to hear GodStories from you and your ideas for how we can "embrace unity” in the year 2026. Give us your feedback here.
Gratefully Yours,
Josh
PS If you haven’t saved the link, don’t forget that we are sharing devotionals with Living Word and you can find digital copies on their website here.

And we’ll gather both campuses together at our Annual Chili/Soup Cook Off on Sunday Night from 5:30-7:30 at our Stillmeadow Lane Campus.
