On Sunday we celebrated Pentecost, the day the church experienced an outpouring of the Holy Spirit that empowered them to proclaim the good news of Jesus in languages they had never learned but just so happened to be the languages of the crowds of people in Jerusalem for the Jewish festival. God provided exactly what was needed for the mission he called his church to do! And the Spirit is at work in the church to this very day!
I encourage you to meditate on Romans 8 to learn more about what it means to live in the Spirit. There Paul highlights that the Holy Spirit is the Spirit of life (not death), bringing renewal to believers; the Spirit of adoption (not exclusion), bringing belonging to a spiritual family; the Spirit of intercession (not apathetic disconnection), teaching us to pray.

I’m grateful for you, praying for you and cheering for you as you allow Jesus to prepare you for what’s ahead and as you look to him through it all.

May 31st is Grad Sunday! All 2026 graduates are welcome to submit a picture and info for our slideshow, regardless of age or degree! We would love to celebrate your accomplishments together! Baptism Sunday: June 7
Baptism is an opportunity to go public with your faith in Jesus. We’ll have baptisms at both of our campuses on Sunday, June 7. Sign up at stillnaz.com/baptism.
Summer Kickoff Worship: June 14
Both campuses will come together to be led in worship by the Lincoln Christian Church Youth Choir at 10AM at Stillmeadow Lane. Worship will be followed by a potluck meal and family activities! Congratulations to…
Daniel Adams and John Lackey for their recent appointment to the church board. Daniel is finishing Chastity Frederick’s term (ending 2026) and John is replacing Tara Strauser (term ending in 2027). When Chastity and Tara were given their district pastoral licenses (April 12) they were no longer eligible to serve as board members, so the church board voted Daniel and John in to fulfill their terms of service.
