The Grand Reversal // Congrats, Summer Kickoff, VBS and Teddy Bears

“Pentecost” by Ronald Kraut

Dear Spiritual Siblings,

God is so good. I encourage you to go back and listen to Pastor Tabitha’s sermon “The Great Reversal” where she explored how God meets us in our disappointments with exactly who we need (Jesus!) and invites us to serve others in their time of need with Jesus himself. It was a powerful word for a Graduation Sunday!

And I also encourage you to check out Pastor Jade’s sermon on the Great Commission at our York City Campus. What a great word for all of us, that we are sent on God’s mission with the power of the Holy Spirit!

I’m grateful for you, praying for you and cheering for you as you allow Jesus to prepare you for what’s ahead and as you look to him through it all.

It is true! He is Risen,

Pastor Josh

PS Keep up with the Living Word Devotionals here.

From June 15-18 we are having Vacation Bible School. You can register here. As part of our VBS, we’re encouraging our kids to bring in new or gently used stuff animals to bless children in crisis with the Teddy Bear Brigade. And the whole church is invited into the collection! You can bring donations and place them in our collection bins at the welcome center at both of our campuses!

Introducing our Summer Intern

It is with much excitement that Family Ministry announces Cadence Kleinfeld as our summer intern! Cadence will be serving in various ways, including children's ministry, youth ministry, and missions. We are really excited about this partnership with her and the heart she has for sharing the Gospel with all, through words and actions! Let's be praying that the Holy Spirit will inspire her imagination in these areas of ministry and that as she serves us and learns from us, we will, in turn, serve her and learn from her!
