Reflection Questions

  1. Read Psalm 143:8-10.  Sit with this for 2 minutes of silence and allow God to speak to you.  Share a line that God had stand out to you.

  2. Looking at the chart about relationship status: What status do you think your prayer relationship is in?

3. What do you need to do to move toward a more intimate prayer life with Jesus?

4. Read Philippians 4:6-7.  How does this passage relate to intentional prayer?  In this passage, discuss what is our part in the relationship and what gift God gives us through these intentional prayers.

5. Share an experience that you have had with God during your personal prayer time with Him.  When we share our prayer experiences, it strengthens not only our own faith but also those who hear how good God is.

6. What is your biggest challenge in making your prayer life more consistent and intentional?

7. How can your small group or closest friends support you as you grow in your prayer life?  Acountablitiy partner? Weekly check-ins?  Weekly praise texts that praise God for His work in your life?

8. Close in prayer.  Commit your days to being in communication with your Heavenly Father.  Commit to praying through your mundane moments and your milestones moments.  Ask God to strengthen the foundation of your relationship with Him.  Thank Him for His grace and love.
