Marriage and singleness, Welcome Bash, Foster Care Meetup

Dear Stillmeadow Family,

Leading out of your marriage or singleness

In yesterday’s message we connected the story of the Song of Songs to Jesus with this conclusion: Since marriage and singleness find their meaning in Jesus, we are invited to submit our marriage or singleness to his leadership.

In our leadership development at Stillmeadow we encourage people to participate in the Emotionally Healthy Spirituality courses (this Fall we’re offering EHS on Sunday nights). Pete Scazzero, the author of that course, also encourages people to recognize the power of leading out of your marriage or singleness. For a deeper dive in submitting your life to Jesus in that way check out this podcast on marriage and this podcast on singleness.

Tuesday Night Family Nights in the Fall

Beginning October 7, we’re adding children’s programming and adult classes to our current youth ministry and men’s ministry on Tuesday nights! I’m looking forward to teaching a course on spiritual formation in the household. Look for more information soon! If you’re interested in serving in kids ministry, connect with Pastor Brooklynn!

I’m praying for and cheering for you as you go about this week (which for many includes sending kids to school).

In His love and power,

Josh

Child Dedication Event

Child Dedication

The most important task of a parent is to create a home where their child can begin and grow in a relationship with Jesus. The Child Dedication event is a milestone moment where the parents and the church community publicly commit to serve our kids, surrender them to Jesus and set an example for them to follow.
