1.19.26 Encounter Jesus // New Signage, Vision Sunday, Pastor Kent and Ronnie Retirement
Happy New Year Friends,
We are four weeks into our newest series: Baby Steps — the basics to following Jesus. And Pastor Kent invited us into baby step #4 yesterday: Encounter Jesus.
Check out the Stillmeadow Lane Service on YouTube or the York City Campus Service if you didn’t get a chance to be with us.
Be Baptized on Baptism Sunday: February 1
One way to show and tell people about your Jesus encounter is through the means of baptism. We’re celebrating those who have said “YES” to Jesus on Sunday, February 1, in all of our services. If you have believed in Jesus’ name and have not yet been baptized, we invite you to sign up at the link below. If you have been baptized, we encourage you to show up and celebrate those making this most important decision!
Gratefully Yours,
Josh
PS If you haven’t saved the link, don’t forget that we are sharing devotionals with Living Word and you can find digital copies on their website here.
The Main Announcements
Here’s the main announcements for this week:
New Signage at both campuses
Vision Sunday on January 25
Celebrating Kent and Ronnie Vandervort
New Signage at both campuses
We will be getting new exterior signage on both of our campuses to help our neighbors connect with us. We are grateful that the funding for these signs came through federal grants that we received last year.
Vision Sunday & Chili/Soup Cook Off on January 25
Vision Sunday is a look back at the year before (2025) and a look ahead at the year to come (2026). We’ll hear stories of God’s work in our Sunday morning services. And we’ll gather both campuses together at our Annual Chili/Soup Cook Off on Sunday Night from 5:30-7:30 at our Stillmeadow Lane Campus.
And, to make it even more interesting, our judges for the chili and soup will be three officers from Northern York Regional Police force!
Go to stillnaz.com/visionsundaycookoff to sign up for what Chili or Soup or Side you’d like to bring!
Celebrating Kent and Ronnie Vandervort
At our Chili/Soup Cook-Off, we will be honoring Pastor Kent and Ronnie for their many years of service at Stillmeadow. Kent has retired from his role as Administrative and Leadership Pastor and shifted to serving as bookkeeper for Stillmeadow.
Please bring a card with a gift card or cash as a “Thank You!” for the almost 30 years of service to God’s kingdom through Stillmeadow.
