Happy Easter, He is Risen // Mission Advance 2026

Happy Easter Stillmeadow Family!

He is Risen!

What a joy filled day it was to spend together on Easter. I thank God for the baptisms and the family experience of worship with the JTAG Choir at the Stillmeadow Lane Campus and then the family time of hunting for egg surprises on both campuses!

We’re entering a new series called “Embracing Resurrection.” Each week of this series we’re looking at scripture with the question: “what does it mean to keep the resurrection of Jesus at the center of our everyday lives?”

On Easter Sunday we were challenged to:

  1. Believe in the resurrected Jesus and receive forgiveness of sins through his name (Acts 10:43).

  2. Put your mind on where the resurrected Jesus is. (the way Paul describes in Colossians 3:1-4)

  3. Tell others about the truth and hope of resurrection. (the way Mary did in John 20:18 and Peter did in Acts 10:34-43)

As we journey through this season, ask the Holy Spirit to help you in these things. Invite a friend to journey with you.

Mid-Atlantic Mission Advance

We’ve got Mid Atlantic Nazarene district assembly next weekend (April 11-12) where Tabitha Martin will be ordained, Chastity Frederick, Tara Strauser and Andrew Workman will all receive their district licenses, and Kent and Ronnie Vandervort and Kathy Foltz will move to retired status! You can watch the services here. Tune in Sunday night for the Service on Ministry.

In Resurrection Hope,

Pastor Josh
