The Weeds // Pray for Kids Camp, Day2Pray, Rec Night (07.20.26)
Dear Family of God,
Yesterday, Pastor Chastity Frederick helped us hear what Jesus had to say through the Parable of the Weeds in Matthew 13. If you did not get a chance to hear it, or if you want to be encouraged again, I highly recommend that you go and watch it on our YouTube page. Thank you! Also, yesterday, we came together to pack meals for Rise Against Hunger! Thank you to all who gave and all who volunteered. One of my favorite phrases is “Teamwork makes the dreamwork.” I wasn’t able to be there myself, but saw the sign up list and know that it was a time rich with God’s joy and grace.
Pray with me this week! And today, we have 8 kids and Pastor Tara Strauser heading to Kids Camp at Rhodes Grove Campground. Pray with me for God’s grace over each of them and the entire event. I have fond memories of experiencing God’s presence and growing in understanding of his plan for my life at the kids camps that I attended as a child.
I’m grateful for you, praying for you and cheering for you as you allow Jesus to prepare you for what’s ahead and as you look to him through it all.
