The Sower // Rise Against Hunger is next Sunday!
Dear Family of God,
Yesterday, both of our campuses were privileged to hear David Bowser preach on the Parable of the Sower, inviting us to let the word of Jesus take root in our lives. I pray that God will use this message (watch here) to animate your heart and motivate you for the mission he has laid out for you.
This was the second sermon in our series “The Yoke of Jesus.” May you accept Jesus’ invitation from Matthew 11:28-30: 28 “Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. 29 Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. 30 For my yoke is easy and my burden is light.”
Next Sunday, Pastor Chastity will be bringing the word to both campuses. AND we will be bringing both campuses together to serve in the Rise Against Hunger meal packing event. Contribute to our $4800 goal for 11,000 meals by giving and signing up to serve here.
I’m grateful for you, praying for you and cheering for you as you allow Jesus to prepare you for what’s ahead and as you look to him through it all.
